Dear Colleagues,

Esthera Lifsha Wander, who later became famous under the name of Esther Bick, was born 4th July 1902 in Przemysl, 5, Mnisza Street. Where else would be more suitable to celebrate the centenary of her birth than in Poland, her first home country?
Esther Bick's ideas are deeply rooted in basic human values. They teach respect for every human being and deepen our capacity to feel and to understand. That is why we suggest the topic of bonds as the leitmotiv of the 2002 Esther Bick Congres.
We invite you to Poland, a country undergoing difficult social and economic changes, to Cracow, an important centre of European culture, and to Przemysl, the town of Esther Bick's childhood, where a concomitant historical session will take place. An exhibition about Esther Bick is planned on this occasion.

Esthera Lifsha Wander, qui devînt célèbre plus tard sous le nom d'Esther Bick, naquît le 4 juillet 1902 à Przemysl, 5 rue Mnisza. Quel lieu aurait mieux convenu que la Pologne, sa première patrie, pour célébrer le centenaire de sa naissance?
Les idées d'Esther Bick, qui nous enseignent le respect dû à chaque être humain et nous apprennent à approfondir nos capacités à éprouver et à comprendre, sont profondément enracinées dans des valeurs humaines. C'est pourquoi nous proposons le sujet de liens comme leitmotiv du Congrès Esther Bick 2002.
Nous vous invitons en Pologne, le pays qui passe des difficiles changes sociales et économiques, à Cracovie, un centre important de la culture européenne, et à Przemysl, la ville de l'enfance d'Esther Bick, ou une accompagnante session historique aura lieu. Une exposition sur Esther Bick est prévue à cette occasion.
